Fine materials and bespoke finishes

The value of an exclusive home lies in lasting beauty and in the details that enrich everyday life. At Le Terrazze sul Lago, fine materials, considered proportions and bespoke finishes create a discreet expression of luxury: homes to enjoy naturally, where aesthetics and comfort support one another.

Materials to see and to touch

Walls are designed with smooth, pleasing surfaces and a silky feel. Natural wood flooring made in Italy brings warmth and authenticity indoors, while Marazzi porcelain stoneware, rooted in a long Italian tradition, lends elegance and continuity to floors and wall finishes. Textures, colours and combinations are selected to create a coherent interior.

Bathrooms as designed spaces

The bathrooms are conceived around proportion and light, creating intimate, functional and refined settings. Carefully planned lighting enhances surfaces and volumes; basins integrated into vanity units and flush shower trays finished in the same porcelain stoneware as the floor create clean, continuous lines. Taps and fittings from leading Italian brands such as Gessi are paired with sanitaryware from premier Italian manufacturers, selected for contemporary design and quality of manufacture.

Light as part of the architecture

Italian-made aluminium windows, with triple glazing and insulating cavities, feature slim profiles and a particularly discreet central meeting section. Their design gives light and landscape room to breathe, framing the lake with an elegant architectural line.

Architect-designed layouts make considered use of spaces and circulation: bright open-plan kitchens, well-organised rooms and relaxation areas oriented towards the view. Quality is expressed both in the home’s appearance and in how comfortably it supports daily life.

Outdoor spaces that extend the home

Covered loggias and outdoor living areas open the home to one of Lake Como’s most captivating panoramas. Timber slat finishes bring warmth and rhythm to the architecture, creating welcoming places to read, dine or simply pause and take in the landscape. These are spaces to enjoy at an unhurried pace, with a lighter boundary between inside and out.

Three private terraces above the lake

The project has obtained permission for three private panoramic rooftop terraces, an opportunity available to just three purchasers. Each combines a covered area, where an outdoor kitchen can be planned, with open-air spaces for sunbathing and relaxation. Reinforcement of the slab allows for the possibility of installing a private jacuzzi, making the lake view an even more personal experience.

Raised porcelain paving on pedestals completes these spaces with a refined, practical solution. The cavity beneath the paving supports ventilation and drainage, while dry installation makes inspection and maintenance easier. It is a detail that combines everyday comfort, clean design and attention to the home’s long-term use.

The language of true residential luxury lies in thoughtful choices: what you see, what you touch and what makes every day special.
